Instructors
Ann E. Heavey, MS, CCC-SLP/L, ATP
Ann is a speech pathologist with over twenty years of clinical experience in pediatrics. She teaches courses addressing oral-motor function, communication, assistive technology and augmentative-alternative comminication. She is an NDT speech instructor and maintains a private practive in Chicago.
Madonna Nash, OTR/L
Madonna is a Neuro-Developmental Treatment Occupational Therapy instructor and has been teaching and practicing for over 25 years. She has taught many NDT courses, SI/NDT courses and baby treatment courses throughout the United States. Madonna is a co-owner of City Kids, Inc.
Kacy Hertz, PT
Kacy is a Neuro-Developmental Treatment Coordinator Instructor and has organized and taught NDT oriented courses for over 15 years. She is a active clinician and co-owner of City Kids, Inc., maintaining current knowledge in taping, casting, baby treatment and lower extremity biomechanics.
Lisa Mesecar, MA, OTR/L
Lisa is SIPT trained and has completed intensive training in sensory integration theory and practice at Pediatric Therapy Network (formerly the Ayres Clinic) in Torrence California. She has lectured on the subject of sensory integration to both students and professional audiences.
Susan Siekierski, PT
Susan is a staff physical therapist at City Kids has has been an active clinician for over 10 years. She is NDT trained and NDT baby trained, is the clinical education coordinator, and has assisted and co-taught many courses at City Kids, Inc. Susan is also the practicum coordinator for all clinical courses.
Nancy Flanigan, MS, CCC-SLP
Nancy is a staff speech pathologist at City Kids and has been an active clinician for over 10 years. She has co-taught and assisted in many courses at City Kids, is NDT trained and has extensive experience with integrating speech and language therapy with sensory integration.
